I downloaded the RAR of the Vista driver from this site. Failed the first time with a “wrong operating system error” but the installer then offered to try again with adjusted compatibility settings. There seem to be several people with working methods here but I’ve not seen this one so here it is Intel Integrated g Chipset Drivers. Something must be different. It is a beta so you might consider installing Win7 from scratch and try the driver again.
